You are a real creative powerhouse! You have quickly become a leader with passion for community, living your faith, building the arts up into a multi-faceted support system. - Zan Lombardo, Retired Art Teacher and Nationally Exhibiting Fine Artist

Erika has an amazing ability to manage the satellite-level vision, the balcony-level strategy, and the orchestra-level details simultaneously. She is bright and creative while also being practical. Erika makes a point of sharing information and training to increase the team's effectiveness. Her leadership is an asset to every community with which she is associated.

I was Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Convener of the Program Council at UUCY while Erika was our Director of Communications and Administration. She is an extremely capable and creative leader, attentive to detail and sensitive to the needs and challenges of those she's working with. Our congregation wouldn't have been anywhere near as successful without Erika's tireless work during a very challenging time. I'd heartily recommend Erika for any position she felt capable of pursuing. - Dan Blanchat

Erika has been volunteering as a Seva for me at Red Head Yoga. Her job as a Seva (which means "selfless services") is communications: social media, PR, etc.
Using the book, The Leadership Challenge by Kouzes & Posner, I will give you a short, but accurate account of what she is capable of doing:
1)    Model the Way – Erika created an environment for individuals which enabled them to be open and candid with their replies. Her willingness to share life stories (good or bad) helped others to further exhibit honesty and on occasions, a good laugh.
2)    Inspired a Shared Vision – She is always the leader. She has a ‘take charge’ way of bringing together individuals for the task and create a shared product that is always the very best quality.
3)    Challenge the Process – Erika is not one to sit idly. She is one person I can count on to jump in from the start, ask lots of questions, come to a goal, and finish it. If she doesn’t understand, she asks.
4)    Enable Others to Act – Need I say anything further! She is there to jump in to have everyone on the bandwagon to do what is needed to create something for the good of any business.
5)    Encourage from the Heart – Erika has a heart as big as the world. She was right there with everyone when we would have our moments of greatness to celebrate. She creates a spirit of community.
No company is complete without her! She shows every bit of leadership I would expect out of someone so wonderful. There’s an old sentence which says leaders are made, not born; this is true in Erika. She, because of her amazing higher education experience and her personality, has what it takes to be a successful leader among the greats such as Margaret Thatcher, Indira Ghandi, and Benazir Bhutto. With a person such as Erika, you can rest assured that all assignments and tasks will be completed and done beyond your expectations."
