For-profit businesses can build community by hosting events for their key demographic groups and making the fun elements low cost or free. IDEA Coffee at Walden hosted Cinderella (courtesy of Charter Homes) and worked with area businesses to offer treats and fun for young kids and their families. My face painting was a part of this busy day, which attracted 70 children and their caregivers.
